“ There is no better Mexican food anywhere than the original Las Casuelas!!! We have been coming here for over 20 years and the food is always consistently delicious!!! They make their guacamole fresh; you can get it creamy or chunky. Their chips and salsa are a good. Beans and rice are the best ever and I also love their shrimp fajitas. They also have the best shredded beef chimichanga on the planet !!! YOU CANNOT GO WRONG HERE !!! :) ”

“ The second you walk in, the smells let you know the meal is gonna rock. Chips and salsa are swiftly delivered to the table and man is the salsa good. We each ordered a margarita, regular and jalapeño. Quite big and perfect for the meal ahead. I opted for the two taco combo plate (shredded beef and shredded chicken). The meat was soooo juicy, I regret not trying the signature ground beef taco.. guess I'll have to come back. The husband had the Las Casuelas special, a loaded plate with a taco, tamale, enchilada and chile verde. If you're asking if he liked it, I'd say yes. He finished every single bite. Our server was impressed. I'll come back here every time we visit. It's a delight, traditional and so so good. ”

“ An overdue review.... What had happened was.... In October my husband and I came to PS to enjoy a nearby resort. He was navigating and I drove since I've been a passenger princess for tooooo long lol I looked up a Mexican food place and he told me to park and we walked into Las Cansuelas. Awkward. This isn't the place I looked up! Well -- we're seated and committed now. Turns out to be a pleasant mistake. So much so we came back the next day for lunch. What we have ordered: Basic B meal by my husband 2 cheese enchiladas with red sauce combo. He really enjoys this and their salsa. It reminds him of a place that closed down by us. I've had: Flautas plate - one chicken/one beef. Perfectly crunchy. Nicely filled. Tasty guac on top! 1/2 chile con carne. Red and green. I wished the green had more sauce on it but, still really good. Meat was tender! Mexican pizza appetizer. After some day drinking. This hit the spot! We had one really amazing server. I wish I got his name but, we've seen the same people the times we have gone. That's a good sign lol See you soon Las Cansuelas! We have another trip planned out this way in 2 months ”
